We really seek to encourage an increase in prayer and intercession for our county.

We are especially interested and actively support:

  • Vision of the Church for what God is doing and going to do in this generation
  • Promotion of unity in the Body of Christ
  • Reaching out with Evangelism to the lost
  • The redemption of our county and its communities

There are various ways in which we are doing this.

  • We have organised Intercessory groups, prayer walks and prayer vigils.
  • We encourage, support and promote all prayer that goes on in the body of Christ within Northamptonshire.
  • That’s why we are more than willing to post information about any prayer group going on in your area.
  • 2 Chronicles 7:14

If my people will humble themselves
    ………I will heal their land

    Intercession

We stand today upon the shoulders of those who have gone before us in prayer. We continue in this strong foundation and long tradition of intercessory prayer to see our county redeemed by God.

In addition to individual and church prayers, Intercessory groups meet to pray across the county every fortnight.

Currently our main intercession group meets at 7.30pm on the first Friday each month at W5 Church, 16 St. Giles Terrace, Northampton, NN1 2BN

If God has laid Intercession or Travailing prayer on your heart, then we would encourage you to join together in an established group or start up a new one in your own neighbourhood. Our vision is to establish groups covering the whole of Northamptonshire.

    PRAYING
    FOR OUR
    COMMUNITIES

    Community Focused Prayer

We encourage individual’s, Churches and groups of Churches in a district to pray for their community.

It can be in anyway you feel is appropriate to your locality including Houses of Prayer.

We’d love to hear about any planned prayer meetings, prayer walks and events where the Body of Christ is working together so that we can support you through our website.
